I was initially interested in the Eagles spending a day two pick on him, but Jim Schwartz doesn’t put up with that shit. Maybe Darius Slay could help provide some leadership for him, but that’s a lot to ask out of Slay to just come in and lead the backend come day one. I don’t know, probably not a great fit for the Eagles with the changing of the guard in that secondary.
The New York Jets select: Julian Okwara - EDGE - Notre Dame Pass rush is a massive need for the Jets. Okwara's injury is a blessing in disguise here because it allows for a first round talent to slide into their laps. JO lives in the backfield and creates turnovers and negative plays consistently.
Pittsburgh selects Tyler Biadasz, Center, Wisconsin Pittsburgh has surprisingly patched many of their holes through free agency: EDGE: tagged Dupree Guard (Foster retired): Weisnewski signing TE: Enron signing they are thinning on Oline depth, and Pouncey is aging, so this is a bit of a future pick, but it makes sense to me right now. @CarpetElf i think you’re up for one of your football teams. Edit: Ebron. We signed Ebbbbron
Good pick for Steelers tbh @JRShoenberger @EntryLevelDave doesn't it suck being the Redskins and having ALL THESE needs but having to wait till round 3 second round picks are so crucial haha
Well, I was giving you a first round-value pass rusher though lol. So settling for Yannick instead of Young, but getting pick 9 on top of that, was definitely like getting a second round pick, possibly even better. AND i offered a fourth and a fifth which certainly could've helped Washington add competition and fill out some depth instead of desperately grasping at specific positions.
Oh well. In the end, you lost out on drafting a generational pass rusher your management could drive out of town in year 4.
I'm betting on management being driven out of town before then, man. hahaha Also, Chase Young and Josh Allen. That defense is already given immunity from being bottom tier if we did that haha. I would flip shit and get so excited.
Yeah there’s fracking in the counties surrounding Pittsburgh. But at this point Pittsburgh is a bigger tech town than traditional industry.
Trade Alert!!! The Washington Bonercats have trades picks 66&108 to the Bears for Pick #50. With Pick 50 The Bonercats select Lucas Niang OT, TCU Offensive tackle with starter talent and potential to grow. I have my young QB and now I’m drafting fat guys like I’ve always said. Trading up was made a lot easier by unloading Trent Williams who was never gonna play for us for a 3rd round pick.
