I think if Tanny was they're starter all year they're closer to 10-6 or 11-5 so regressing may still be 9-7 or so.
If the Chargers actually stay healthy they are a team to watch out for. They are clearly a playoff team based on talent but they are legitimately cursed.
I don't expect Tannehill to throw a touchdown 7.7% of the time in 2020 like he did in 2019. That was the second highest touchdown percentage behind Lamar Jackson (9%, will regress) and ahead of Drew Brees (7.1%).
Oh yeah, they have a boatload of talent. If they can get good, or even decent, QB play AND stay healthy (pipe dream, I know), they are a playoff-caliber team.
Also worth mentioning that Tannehill's 7.7% touchdown rate in 2019 is the third high rate in the past five seasons only behind Lamar, Patrick Mahomes (8.6% in 2018), and Russell Wilson (8.2% in 2018).
Yeah, that’s obviously a hard number to repeat. But I still believe Tannehill is a good QB. I think he had some bad luck in Miami with injuries. He lead them to the playoffs and then the injuries started. Matt Moore had to take over in those playoffs. He isn’t elite but I think he’s pretty dang good.
Agreed and I think he'll be at least solid in 2020. I just don't think the wins are going to come the same kind of way they did in 2019 again. Titans are absolutely in playoff contention and I understand some of the moves they've made so far this offseason, even if I wouldn't have given so much guaranteed money to Tannehill.
with the 18th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Jordan Love, QB, Utah State Miami decided to keep all their picks and ended up with their 2nd choice at QB anyways. Love has all the talent in the world but needs to be coached up so he can get some of the mistakes out of his game. Miami still has a ton of picks in 2021 as well so that just in case he falls flat on his face, they can get into the market next year.
@Randall Mentzos Falcons selected Kristian Fulton - CB - LSU Cowboys selected Kenneth Murray - LB - Oklahoma Dolphins selected Jordan Love - QB - Utah State and now you're up
