The fact that Margot got nominated for bombshell is kinda infuriating.

 

Wow that sucked. Literally zero good surprises.

 

The Lighthouse cinematography nomination pleasantly surprised me. The Lupita Nyong’o snub was less surprising and less pleasant.

The Academy has such bad taste that in a year where you could trip and fall into nominating 8-10 great films and performances for a bunch of stuff and they still whiffed on over half of everything they nominated. Always impressively bad.

So they’ll give Parasite the international feature film award as a gesture I assume

A bit annoyed the entire cast of Parasite was snubbed.
