there are about three or four songs that i'd put among his best ever, and a handful that are ob la di level

 

my biggest issue with his solo stuff, which I prefer to john's, is how disjointed all of the albums are

 

I can agree with you there, I much prefer John when it comes to full albums. Paul has a TON of great singles, and plenty of album tracks, but John was consistent when making albums. George knocks it out of the part with All Things Must Pass, but the rest of his stuff is still really good but not the same level

 

oh george easily has the best solo career imo. it isn’t close.

 

Ok but I love Ob La Di. I still need to devote more time to John’s solo material. All Things Must Pass is definitely great.

I really think the only songs on Band on the run that don’t stand out are Mrs Vanderbilt and No Words (mostly cus I cant remember them off the top of my head). The rest is ace

Well, May was a big month. was able to listen to 175 new albums in May. thanks to working from home, few meetings and Netflix not working on my TV, i spent more time listening to music than everrrrrr before.
