It’s almost like maybe Laine wasn’t the best fit for a Tortorella coached team....... something everyone agreed on before the trade happened. I think it’s looking more and more like Torts is gone at EOY.

 

I saw on Twitter last night that there are rumors floating around that Torts is trying to get himself fired for whatever reason

 

Is the reason that he is being his usual irrational self?

 

I think this is a good deal for Columbus. I believe Lehtonen is a UFA at the end of the year but they have the opportunity to see him play and potentially lock him up if he meshes well there. He’s a decent player that just can’t crack Toronto’s roster because they are a deep team.
Vehvalainen I’m not sure if this is going to really be super beneficial to... I think hen could end up similar to several #3 goalies on waivers all the time. Maybe he gets a shot and proves he can play? I don’t know.
