Going to be an interesting season for sure.

 

My fantasy league expanded from 12 to 14 teams and I was blessed with the 14th pick last night. Not ideal, but I think I did alright, considering. Hoping to be able to snag an early waiver addition on D or swing a trade to fix that issue. It's a head-to-head/categories league that plays F/D/G instead of the individual forward positions.

F: Pettersson, Marchessault, Debrincat, Rust, Kadri, Suzuki, Pacioretty, Connor
D: Makar, Letang, Giordano, Chychrun, Gudas
G: Hellebuyck, Halak, Talbot
IR: Seguin, Tarasenko - took these guys with my last two picks and immediately shoved them to IR and added Suzuki and Gudas

The rangers got better and the Islanders got marginally worse (you can argue that sorokin coming in compensates for losing greiss and toews). Maybe that's why people give them equal odds I dont know either way it's dumb. Difference is in coaching, isles are gonna succeed again with that boring trap like hockey that got them 2 wins or whatever from the scf.

Had the last pick in my draft last night (12 teams). I wasn't thrilled with getting stuck the last pick, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

Was surprised when Vasilevskiy was still available with the 12th pick, so I had to jump on that. Also was torn at one point between Khudobin and Jarry, so hopefully that decision ends up working out.

Kinda wack but also every team is only wearing them twice it seems. Hopefully they wear them again next season when fans are (hopefully) in the building.

 

The majority of the reverse retro jerseys are not good, so I’m okay with only seeing them a few times.
