The combination of the Sabres being an awful sinking ship of a franchise and general laughingstock + the rules slowly sliding back closer and closer to pre-lost season are making me hate hockey entirely.

2005 to 2009 or so, especially 05-06 and 06-07 when the refs called EVERYTHING? Hockey was so, so much fun. Could you imagine how many points McDavid and Matthews would score if they got the time and space afforded back then?
