Nashville and Detroit sure love to play some terribly boring games of ice hockey.

 

the hawks suck. if they lose tonight its cuz of the penalty kill and that they blew 2 2 goal leads

edit: they won in a shootout but totally should have lost in overtime

It really is time for Julien to go, that Habs team is just painful to watch. They started the season so well, but all the energy and creativity they had has been completely stifled.

I agree that it’s Claude’s fault that Montreal is a team with three second lines and a fourth line

 

No, but it is his fault that in 2021 he still has them play dump and chase, that the PP has been a mess for 3+ years, that Corey freaking Perry gets to do shootouts, that young guys are afraid to make mistakes or else they ride the bench, and I could go on and on..

 

I will say that the special teams, or at least a power-play, was not great while he was here

 

For real. That little drag to the inside before releasing the puck is what Laine/Matthews do so well.
