The tweet is a little misguided. Last year Detroit was the worst team. This year, Detroit is one of the best 5v5 teams in terms of expected goals against per 60 minutes. They lose because they can’t score and can’t play special teams. 5v5 they’re really good defensively.

This season is so astronomically stupid. Saros was screened by a ref and let in a goal, then they had to review it to make sure the puck didn’t ricochet off of the ref before going in. I might just sleep and wake up in like 2025 at this point.
