Why is Canada still so locked down? Are they getting hit bad right now? What’s the point of encouraging people to get vaccinated if you still don’t let people go anywhere or do anything?

 

They're starting to open up slowly in most provinces but Manitoba is really bad right now. So bad that we're airlifting patients to Saskatchewan and Ontario....




This is due to the government opening things too quickly in March without having people vaccinated.

I just got my 1st shot like 2 weeks ago when I know most people my age in the states already have both shots.

Vaccine supply is very limited. They’ve been focusing on getting everyone their first shot before administering the second to the large majority of people. In Ontario, they’ve just started giving our second doses, but right now it’s limited to those 80+. I got my first dose on May 10th, but it doesn’t look like I’ll be able to get my second until the middle of July.

 

NHL needs to start the Avs game earlier than 8 Mountain so the eastern half of North America can watch the Sand People get their asses whooped

the Avs are probably the most analytics-driven team in the league and look where they are

the Oilers are built horrendously. They have literally no depth anywhere and their goalie was a dinosaur. That isn't analytics.
