How has Krug looked like for you so far? I love the guy but if fans are expecting him to come in and be all around number one defenseman I think they are in for a very rude awakening

 

Haha yeah sorry I was frustrated I stayed up for that shit kicking.

He was solid the first game, a little timid but that’s kinda expected. You can tell his vision is as advertised, so many quick no look passes.

Game 2 just light the whole team on fire after that pantsing.

This is classic NYR - overvaluing the presence of an old wiley veteran. I went from pure elation with them dumping Staal to complete misery when they decided it was a good idea to sign Jack Johnson. The inability of management to see how this hurts the team is truly baffling. Like, the coach really thinks this is a good thing.

I quite like how the two NY teams have taken turns lighting up the other's highly touted Russian rookie goalie. Sometimes life is beautiful.

I also quite like how Nick Robertson suffered a game-ending injury after 2 minutes on the ice. Other times life is fucking terrible.

 

Sorokin kinda got screwed with the varly injury in warmups. Clutterbuck is a moron
