bizarrely mentions how Tampa didn’t blow it up after the Columbus sweep and look what happened the next year (as if Tampa didn’t win 62 games and have an actual great team which Edmonton does not have in the slightest) and also mentions how long it took other great players to get a Cup.

just reeks of old-school boring hockey “rules”. It’s 2021, look what players do in other sports if they don’t win or are miserable. They control the show. It’s going to happen eventually in hockey, the sooner the better imo.

I was thinking the same thing. When he talks it's so boring and monotone. There are some players that could have been great in this role but do not see him being one of those.

Coming into this series I thought this was the best the Pens have looked for a while, thought we could get the cup. fucking sucks to have another early playoff exit. Jarry ain’t it. Sullivan doesn’t adjust for shit. Not even trying Legace (who had a shutout in his last game) when it’s obvious Jarry was shook and hopeless is incredibly frustrating.
