Clemson 100 percent should join the SEC

 

Cincinnati and another AAC team to the Big 12. They shouldn't be able to call themselves the Big 12 with only ten teams.

 

I just want to point out that Bama’s kicker was 14/14 on FG’s and 84/84 on PAT’s for the entire season. That is absolutely unheard of for this program.

 

It happened in 2012 too when Jeremy Shelley was 69/69 and 11/11 that year.

 

Surprised by that. Seems like kicking was never any good until this season.

 

Only the second time in 20 years that a bama kicker has attempted >80 extra points and Reichard still only put up the fourth most points of any bama kicker since 2000, being beaten by Leigh Tiffin in 2009 (132), Adam Griffith in 2015 (131), Adam Griffith in 2016 (129) and Reichard's 126. Fifth is Joseph Bulovas with 117.

There was some stat that made the rounds last year that since 2007 (Saban’s first year) no other program in all of FBS missed more FG’s than Bama. The lack of FG attempts this season was so nice. It’s almost like this team didn’t even need a kicker. Feels like since 2013 (kick six) there was a great chance something catastrophic was gonna happen whenever we kicked.

 

Looking through some stuff on my lunch break and Cade Foster played in 40 games (12 more than Reichard) and has less total points than Reichard lol. Foster was 25/44 on FG's, like why did Saban let him keep kicking then?

 

About 7 million fewer viewers last night than the lowest rated CFP championship game. It was also lower than either semi games this year. I know it's a COVID year, but I wonder if ratings dropping will spur any changes.

 

Imagine being a fan! It was perplexing and infuriating every time it was 4th and 2 and Nick opted to kick a 40 yard FG with this dude instead of just going for it.
