Oh shit completely glossed over the BYU stuff. How old was Steve young when he got drafted?

Thank you for facilitating to my laziness! Interesting. I just looked up ty Detmer and he was 25 when he was drafted. Kinda surprised Young was so young when drafted.

well he was drafted by the LA Express... and then traded to the Buccaneers in 1985...(?) and I don’t think the Express were an NFL team so he would have been 23-24 when he got to the NFL

Steve Young playing for the Bucs is one of those things I learned later in life that blew my mind. Kinda like finding out Ozzie Smith played for the Padres and Ryne Sandberg was a Phillie.

Yeah I can see that happening a lot throughout this season. Teams are gonna be forfeiting games due to not having enough players.

yeah, i guess. i'd be shocked if any of the leagues pulled something like that off, though.

Navy/BYU is the first game without a crowd. Not as weird as I thought it would be and it's kind of cool to hear the sounds of the game clearly.

Navy looks like the worst team I’ve ever seen.

Former student got an INT to close out the W for UNC. Great start to the season!

College football sucks and I’m over it.

Big 12 should have opted out. Definitely could have spared themselves some embarrassment.

So Georgia Tech still sucks. Cool.

Yeah. They suck. But FSU still sucks, so there’s that.

I’m happy with it after last year. Missing 3-4 key players and pulled out the win on the road with a true freshman starting QB. Feeling more optimistic than I have in a long time.
