I love that it was reported that MSU couldn’t pay a top guy more than dantonio was getting then it was like “guess we could get Bielema” and suddenly there’s $5+ mil to spend

 

Yea, I guess the boosters stepped up. Makes you wonder if they could've gotten fickell but they actually botched that whole thing completely and pissed him off in the process.

 

From the sounds of it Fickell seemed like he was gonna come but his family didn’t want to make the move and convinced him to just not go. I don’t blame him, hard to leave an 11 win team as well as not coming back to that recruiting class he got, especially with no chance to recruit At MSU this year if he took the job.

 

MSU should’ve thrown a massive check book at fleck a few years ago.
