as more of an NFL fan who only watches college to stay ahead of the draft, I LOVE LSU because they churn out GOOD NFL talent like a fucking factory.

Other teams have had more players drafted, Alabama and Ohio State both obviously have more overall NFL alumni, but LSU quite easily produces the most actually GOOD players in the NFL than any other school. LSU really prepares talent for the NFL.

Burrow is phenomenal. And Jordan Jefferson's brother looks like a great receiver. But their defensive unit seems weak. Not sure if it's personnel or scheme.

 

Especially on defense. LSU defense is always a must-scout. Alabama is too, but sometimes their players get overrated because Saban is so good at winning and keeping momentum on his team's side.

It's not as strong as its been in the past but its definitely not totally weak. Phillips, Delpit and Lawrence is an excellent player at every level of their defense.

That'd be silly. He almost certainly wont do drills at the combine, but there's a pretty good chance he'd be able to do Pro Day stuff.

Also, for a guy with 3 surgeries in a calendar year, playing out another college year would be crazy. He can get taken on Day 2 and get paid out in insurance on the difference between a top 5 pick and that position (Jaylon Smith and Ifo Ekpre-Olomu did this)
