I dont know what it's like to be a top recruit but if I was I'd pick someplace like hawaii, sdsu, usc ucla every time.

 

I'd go somewhere where I can be "the guy". If I'm so good to where I'm confident in getting drafted anyway, I'm gonna make my mark somewhere where people will remember me.

Even Tua wants nothing to do with Hawaii football.

 

I think you could probably do that in basketball and other sports that are less team dependent. But in football, if your aspirations are turning pro, I could see the risk in you fading away because you chose a lesser school with lesser talent around you.

But, if I didn’t care about turning pro, hell yea, I want a sweet locale.

I can't even envision Tua in the NFL taking a sack without shattering into pieces. I hope he gets his 1st round pay and has that opportunity though.
