Oh got it. I was being serious. They were good in the 90's with Stallings, then DuBose came along and they weren't so great. I just think it'd be interesting to see if Saban had set them up for such future dominance that the drop-off after him isn't as substantial despite him being the best coach in CFB history.

 

If Saban leaves this year specifically it'll be interesting because new coach and new QB

I’ve always felt that if the Georgia job never became available Kirby would have been Nick's successor and that would have been the most ideal situation for Bama.

What would happen now is anyone's guess and I don't like to think about it.

There’s a Bama clause in his contract that increases the amount he owes the university if he breaks it early to go to Bama. Clemson’s very aware and afraid of that possibility lol

Dabo won't be Saban's successor. Bama will have some dude that will go like 18-8 or something over two years and get canned. Then Dabo will jump in and take over. He'll be Saban's successor's successor.

I just don't know how I'd feel about Dabo. I legit can't stand listening to that dumb hick in front of a microphone. He'd have to go 14-0 back-to-back-to-back then maybe I'd come around to liking him.
