At least Liberty is kind of a fun opponent, but yeah they got screwed big time. I don’t know why North Carolina and Iowa State deserve to be in those spots over them. Wish Oregon got to play CCU instead of Iowa State.

Auburn hired Harsin, okay. Any Boise bros with thoughts on this?

 

I like the move for Harsin for sure. He was getting screwed in the mountain west, and he def won’t deal with that bs at auburn. Of course, he’ll have to deal with very different expectations.

I don’t think it was a great hire for auburn.

what I’d love to see is Boise state move to the AAC and give us a stacked G5 conference.

 

Yeah the move makes sense for Harsin, but I wonder if it makes sense for Auburn. I was thinking that they needed a home run hire to justify spending $21 million to fire Gus. Harsin is wayyyyy better than a lot of the names getting rumored (Bill Clark, Billy Napier, Hugh Freeze) but I have a hard time thinking he's going to equal Gus or be that much better to warrant firing him.

 

Freeze at Auburn would have terrified me as an Alabama fan. Glad it didn’t happen.

 

I know there are no programs/coaches that are 100% clean, I just really didn't want to be Freeze's first big job back after his ordeal.
