USC QB JT Daniels was playing his ass off against Fresno State and just went down with what looks like a serious knee injury

USC is now only up 17-10 at half with a true freshman QB taking over to start the second half

Fresno State has a chance

 

I’m now a student at USC and decided to get into them this year and follow the team. I was impressed with his first half and then that happened. The Herrell offense was rolling and now they’re probably screwed.

 

Clay Helton just needs more TIME!!!!!!

It’s obvious this team still has top athletes. There’s zero excuse to not compete in the PAC 12.

Clay Helton is bad enough to keep them playing at an average at best level

 

I learned that on the opening kickoff when they had two #7s on the field haha

 

This freshman QB isn’t too bad

 

I'd personally reward Clay Helton with a 10 year Jon Gruden-esque contract extension immediately after the game if I was USC.

 

Ok in return we will extend Browning’s eligibility for another decade.

 

His keycard has been deactivated and thrown in Lake Washington. Sorry.

They’ll maul teams in the MWC

 

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think every true freshman starting QB won their game today.

 

Kudos to Georgia State. They’ve got the potential to grow into the next UCF-like program, and hopefully this upset just accelerated that timeline

 

Funny enough i saw an article a couple months ago saying this.

 

Not sure if this is hyperbole or not but Temple might be the greatest college football team that ever existed

 

Shawn Elliott is one of the best recruiters in the country and they'll get a lot of transfers.

The problem GA State will have is that Elliott will be on the fast track to a big program if he turns them into a consistently competitive team (which he may have already accomplished).

If Muschamp gets fired by South Carolina, Elliott will be towards the top of their list.

 

That's irrelevant, he's a frosh in his first game and he played like shit. Stidham would've won by at least a double digit lead.

Nix looked rattled, but he never really did anything that killed Auburn. He showed some great composure at times.

His fourth down run was gutsy and just an incredibly smart football play. You'd see most QBs try to force a throw there.

He had a lot of bad underthrows and picks (and almost picks), I'm not denying he could get it out of his system but I think a more experienced qb could have done better. It's not like auburn has had a record of amazing qbs other than cam, it seems like nix could be the next best one since?

The run that got them the win was very gutsy.
