AM should be above ND. Better conference, closer loss against a better team, ND is boring.

 

Bama opens -17.5 in Vegas... a little less than I thought.

 

AM lost by 28. Notre Dame lost by 24... against a team they beat earlier.

I kinda hope Cincy plays Texas A&M now.

 

Reason am isn’t is cuz the committee doesn’t like doing conference rematches and they also got blown out by 28 points to bama

 

A&M is dumb. Notre Dame is dumb. Four team playoffs are dumb.

 

This was the perfect year to expand the playoff and they missed the mark of course

I’d like to see Cincinnati vs. Coastal

 

Maybe they’ll expand the playoffs, in 2030

 

I was saying this yesterday even after the ND loss. They don’t want any rematch games. They should have just put A&M at 3 and Ohio State at 4. Not that I think A&M is any good or deserve it, but the committee made it clear they absolutely hate Cincinnati and aren’t playing fair anyways. I’d be intrigued with Clemson/A&M and Bama/Ohio State. ND is just fucking boring on the big stage.

I know Notre Dame is "boring" but tbh I'll always be happy with Notre Dame getting their ass kicked in.

When do they announce the other bowl matchups?

Would love to see a Florida/OK cotton bowl or Florida/Miami orange bowl.

I want CCU and Cinci to play legit teams, too. Give them AM or Florida or Georgia or Oklahoma. Don’t put them up against indiana or Iowa state. Give these blue blood programs some heat and potential embarrassment.

honestly, I think it’d be two blowouts, but that’s what they said about Boise state all those years ago. Let’s do it.

Prediction: Georgia is going to have enough opt outs that a Cincy win will be discredited heavily

 

Also... I want a Coastal Carolina bowl announcement. They’re probably going to get Eastern Kentucky or something like that. :/

 

I’m rooting for four teams to finish undefeated. Maybe that will get some movement on changing the postseason structure.
