The Bucks gave up a kings ransom to get Jrue, and I don’t really get why that’s considered more “pure” than any other trade or FA signing. (Durant going to GS I see as very different.) But how the Bucks were constructed was with trades and FA’s and an all time draft pick.

 

I don’t think the Bucks roster construction is any more “pure” than any other team

I think Giannis’ super team comments probably had more to do with the media saying he’d never win in Milwaukee and he would only be able to win if he teamed up with like Luka or Steph

 

Are we pretending he wouldn’t have wanted them to come play with him? Getting that third all star caliber player helped get him over the edge. If they coulda got Harden instead they damn well woulda, and the ring still woulda been as sweet for him.

 

No I don’t think anyone is pretending that - at least I’m not - I’d be thrilled with either of those dudes on the Bucks lol

again I just think it was a heat of the passion moment and more specifically how Giannis would never win in Milwaukee with a 2 like Khris Middleton - so much shit had been said about Giannis over the past few years regarding his contract status so I think it just had more to do with that.

 

The reason I believe it’s being seen as more pure is because it was co strutted by GMs like the normal process. A gm drafted Giannis and traded for Jrue etc etc.

A select group of fans have a big problem with player autonomy so the notion that players choose who they play with and where they play is outlandish or borderline offensive.

 

I want a super team.

 

I want people to stop thinking Marcus Smart is any part of a “Big 3” lol

in an alternative universe, the Bucks don't trade for Jrue and either lose the Finals or somewhere before it and the world is SCREAMING for Milwaukee to trade for Dame. that would be insane to see and hear right now and everyone would be whining about super teams

 

does PJ Tucker play another year for super cheap or retire? he doesn't provide any offense anymore but man has a lot of heart and energy. i imagine he either comes back to Milwaukee or goes to a team close to winning with where he is at.

 

I feel like this is next years result when the Nets cake walk through or something.

 

Bucks have his bird rights - he probably comes back on a 2 year deal

It’s going to be one of those things. He was pretty upset at first that he didn’t go with James to Brooklyn. Those two plus KD are super close so if he doesn’t go back to Milwaukee then he’s gonna probably wind up there.
