The Eagles winning the SB and the following days up to & including the parade is one of the best weeks of my life. I truly hope you all get to experience that same feeling.

was hoping it would go to 7 but fun series. bucks have a very likeable core there and it was nice to see them win. it does take a little effort to compartmentalize that from this thread but im managing

the fact giannis managed to pull that off after what happened to his knee is stupid clutch. best player on the planet rn.

 

Wasn’t there something about ben simmons that he needed someone to motivate him?

 

Who was comparing Simmons to Giannis? I've always heard Magic or Lebron minus shooting for him.

 

I assume people are just lumping them together bc of FT struggles

 

I remeber early in Giannis's career people were saying he was a point guard when he's not. Simmons has more of the skill set of a PG, but at this point, it's clear he should probably not be one. I guess that and the FT shooting are the similarities.

 

Yup. There seems to be a subset of people, mostly Sixers fans, who think Simmons can be just as good as Giannis if he had Giannis' mentality of getting to the line even if he's not hitting his free throws

It's always been a terrible take and it looks even worse now. Other than transition passing, Giannis is better than Simmons on every level offensively and is so much more skilled in the post

 

hopefully these finals become a huge motivator for book going into the rest of his career
