Based on the subreddit the fanbase is allll the way out on Marvin, think its over for him sooner rather than later

You can correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t he playing pretty well before he got injured last season???

Well, he got hurt in the first game of the year, missed I think 20+ games and then had a pretty solid 8 game stretch. Got hurt again, missed 8 more games, then had another solid 4 games then got hurt again and missed the rest.

He's never really gotten into any real rhythm in his career and its showing in his play so far this season, just doesn't look like a guy who's up to NBA speed. He doesn't really have a post game, every dribble drive is an overly aggressive shoulder into his defender which ends in a charge more often than not or a predictable spin move left, and he has a really bad habit of bringing the ball down when he catches it in the post and he's been stripped a staggering amount already this year.

The shooting and defense really isn't even worth discussing at this point.

It's sad I just don't think he's going to ever fulfill his potential at least in Sacramento, he honestly looks super frustrated like he knows what he could do in college and he can't do it anymore and it leads to plays like him calling off a screen to go iso and immediately turning it over which causes him to press, not play team basketball, and make more mistakes and coach rightfully yanks him and his dad tweets wild shit about the coaching and the spiral continues

Well the dude does have talent. You can’t play the 5 and shoot 2-9 without talent.

The only solution is a Duke challenge trade: Bagley for WCJ. Let’s see which one can right the ship for themselves first.

This string of calf injuries has to be due to the shortened training camp at this point.

Honestly, Exum is lucky. When it happened I, and apparently all of Twitter, was certain it was an achilles injury.

Definitely should have called a violation on Pat Bev for walking into the lane when Mills had the ball for the FT. Can’t believe they just let him get away with that.
