My AAU coach had us "play Random" it just meant don't panic if the play doesn't work, just improvise and be confident.

Edit: I think it roughly means play loose, don't force anything.

does it ever get tiring watching your fan base on twitter blame Bud for every loss even when it has nothing to do with him lol

 

it does

 

like don't get me wrong, bud makes some truly puzzling decisions and rotation arrangements at times, but like, is it Bud's fault that Jrue completely vanishes for 2 or 3 quarters every game? is it Bud's fault that for whatever reason Khris has to wait until the end of the 3rd Q or the 4th to get the engine going? The Bucks lose 5-10 points nightly on missed Giannis FTs.

coaching is a big part of success but the players on the court have to play in order to win.
