Brooklyn might be regretting not putting Kyrie on the table when we were asking at the start lol

Yikes at those Harden comments, very selfish

throwing your team completely under the bus and not considering your own effort level

he should just sit out until a competent offer is made

Between Westbrooks’s play/injury and now this, really wish we had just kept Wall.

Wall on the other hand calling out Harden is great

You can see the leadership difference between Wall and Harden

Harden finally called out on his bullshit detrimental to the team

Currently at the point where Sixers fans are OK with trading Simmons for Harden but not Maxey

Please someone trade for him so the discourse can end

the regional hub doesn't really make much sense though, because you're still traveling. the bubble worked because it eliminated traveling entirely. like whether the bucks are taking a bus to chicago or indiana, they're still gonna fly to cleveland and detroit. so what's the difference between flying to those places as opposed to phoenix, or new york, or utah.

plus, even if they were to enact the regional bubble idea for the 2nd half of the season, like i've mentioned previously, you might be setting up a competitive imbalance in some of these places.

yeah whoever finishes second in the orlando bubble is going to have a much higher seed than they would normally

  10. There’s a severe imbalance in that idea tbh.

Orlando bubble and the Indiana one.

Pacers and Bucks would just beat up on everyone else.

    Miami in the Orlando bubble.

  11. yeah it's not a good idea - should have made that clear

the best idea is just to at least pause the season for a few weeks

i would say pausing it really does nothing either, but you can at least take 2-3 weeks off to overhaul your protocols and procedures and let the teams who are impacted get healthy, but there is absolutely no guarantee that youre not right back in the same boat a week after you kick back off.

Pushing forward and making the best of shit scenarios and playing makeup games whenever you can

    or

    Shit canning the entire thing

Those are the only two choices

Hawks-Suns postponed tonight. Covid killed my fantasy this week between Jaylen Brown and Trae Young along with Westbrook being hurt. Drew wins by default lol

  15. This is going to sound insane because he could end up being complete ass

but I would not want to trade Maxey lol

I wouldn't either in most cases, but if Maxey is the one thing holding up a Harden trade, then you trade Maxey no questions asked

I'm seeing things like "Simmons + Thybulle + Korkmaz + picks for Harden is fine, but Maxey is a deal breaker" which is nuts lol. Even taking future potential out of the equation, with Harden on board you don't need Maxey's skill set as much this season

Exactly lol. Anyone thinking a rookie is what you need to hold on to in a Harden trade is a dummy.

Harden and Embiid would be the best duo probably.

Except for I'm 100% certain they'd hate each other.

Naw, I think they’d get along pretty well. James wanted Doc big time here in Houston as well so I think that would work out very well.

  20. Does Simmons/Maxey/Green??? + picks work for Harden/Tucker?

I have repeatedly said that this season was doomed from the start. The fact that the NBA thought they could get away with scheduling up to FOUR games in one week is clinically insane. Roster sizes in the NBA are obviously far lower than MLB and NFL teams. When you're playing four times a week, and traveling that many times a week, the chances of spreading COVID are obviously far higher. The NFL had the benefit of only playing/traveling once a week, giving teams time to test and await COVID results and assess exposures. Flipping games is also much easier, if need be. Roster sizes are larger, so even if players are forced to miss, you have plenty of players to step up. MLB, despite playing every day, limited travel significantly (once/twice a week). Also have much larger roster sizes and also were able to implement double headers if games were missed.

The NBA is just literally winging it on the fly.

Yea, this isn't working. I'm all for having the NBA back in a safe/ reliable way, but the amount of disruption in the infancy of the season is a little crazy

I'd still be trying to keep Simmons, Harden value might be low enough now

No way is it low to not include Simmons but I just don’t think Philly moves anyone until the deadline at the earliest
