They lost 3 games in a row to lose the series. One bad penalty call didn't cost them the series, they did it to themselves

I mean, it absolutely did. When you’re up 3-0 and in complete control of a game 7, and the tide only changed because of said penalty kill, then the call did cost them the series. I understand what you’re saying, but saying the call didn’t cost them the game, and in turn the series, is nonsense.

 

And I get what you're saying. But maybe they shouldn't have let it get to game 7 after a 3-1 lead lol.

 

I mean you don’t have to give up four power play goals either. Even if they “only” gave up two, they would have won. It’s an atrocious call no doubt, but that loss is 100% on Vegas

 

This can just keep going back and forth but at the end of it, the refs fucked up majorly and the Knights weren't composed enough to deal with it.

everyone deserves blame except the sharks tbh

 

I hate to say it, but getting a win in that game makes the Sharks the immediate favorite to win the cup.

Of course I’d love to be proven wrong here.

 

If this season's playoff has taught us anything, the team that seems like the favorite is most definitely not the favorite.
