In regards to the penalty, yeah it shouldn’t have been a 5 minute major. Bad call. Also scary to see a player get hurt like that though

That cross-check happens all the time and they never call it in the playoffs. That said, what happened to Pavelski is why they should start calling it more because you prevent that whole mess entirely.

 

Two minutes would have been fine. Unnecessary cross check, no argument there. 3-1 and Vegas are still in the drivers seat. A major there is indefensible

 

These sharks overtime thrillers are killing me, but goddamn this is the good stuff.

Stastny was the only one who really deserved a penalty. Even then, the injury was a freak accident. It's still why I hate the arbitrary officiating in the playoffs. They let every minor penalty go and then they toss out a five because someone got hurt on a play that would have never happened if they had control of the series from the start.
