The offside challenge is horseshit (thanks Matt Duchene; please sign with the Preds), but woo boy that was cloooose.

 

Thoughts.

99% of offside challenges are looking at a matter of inches that basically have no result on the outcome of the play and usually takes minutes to sort out and sucks all fun and energy out of the arena.

Review was left correct and luckily didn’t take that much time.

Binnington lucky that it’s the end of the 1st. Hope he can regroup and get back into this. Three goals on four shots (no matter how impossible to stop some of them may have been) has gotta get in your head

 

I was surprised that didn’t get overturned based on what NBC kept showing, but once they showed the full clip it made sense.

Ok so the person at NBC who decided they need to keep repeating that shot where the camera person walks down the stairs towards the ice needs to be slapped in the face. The first time was fine but now they're really overdoing it.
