Time to crank it up

 

this is my favorite thing about moving from the central time to pacific. I love that the games come on right when I get home from work and are (usually) over by bed time.

Being a blues fan I was on edge all night. I left after the 3rd and took my kids to get ice cream as I couldn't deal with it. Was happy to start getting the notifications though. Boston didn't have a shot, hit, scoring chance in OT. Crazy.

 

Yea, I would love to have the games start right when I get home. I am tired today!

Being a Bruins fan, I was also on edge. The Blues deserved that game though. They absolutely controlled overtime. It was unbelievable. There was no way the Blues were leaving that ice without a win.

I've said it before but the playoffs always make it hard to stay rational. It's a very "what have you done for me lately" situation where, even though the Bruins had been playing so well, it now feels hard to get excited because they looked so sluggish last night. I really hope the top line can get going. Marchand played terribly and whenever he did get a chance he just passed it off.

These teams are very even so you have to take any shot you can.

I'm nervous but I'm looking forward to game 3.

 

Lol I don’t think I’d be like this if I didn’t live on the east coast. Late night starts kill me. Miss living on the west coast.

 

Haha. I get ya. I just had seen you post it a few times during the first round so it made me laugh to see it again.

I was feeling very tired when I wake up. Bummed the Bruins lost but thankfully the Blues got it over with quickly so that I didn’t have to stay up any later.

 

Almost game time!

Not sure what to expect. The vibe of this series is reminding me a bit of the Columbus series for Boston.

Excited for St. Louis as it’s been a long time. I know they’ll be buzzing but I’m hoping the Bruins can overcome it.

How does St. Louis feel about him? Is he viewed negatively for leaving?

Seems like goaltending has been your issue for years, I hope he’s the real deal. He’s a lot of fun to watch, just wish it wasn’t against the Bruins haha

 

Nah, people here are cool with Backes. I’ve heard people say if Boston wins, at least they’ll be happy that Backes won a title.

 

Me too, hopefully he’s the chosen one.

 

This is a weird series because I actually really like the Blues haha if they were going against anyone else I’d be on the Blues bandwagon

 

Boston was like that with Ray Bourque. The city celebrated like we won when the Avs won it.

 

Haha. Same. Normally I find myself hating the other team but I can’t get myself to that level against the Blues.

 

Game is very fun, wouldn’t mind 7 games of this energy / intensity
