IF the Dolphins don't trade up for Herbert (which is probably unlikely anyways), they need to go all in on the OLine and DLine
I feel personally disrespected that the best corner in this draft class is not even a second rounder in that mock
Well I’m not a Brissett fan but NC state is a good passing offense in terms of transitioning to NFL concepts Finley doesn’t look as athletic or mechanically solid as Herbert but he is way better at going through reads, more patient in the pocket, and makes quicker decisions / gets rid of the ball. He has great ball placement on 50-50 balls as well and takes full advantage of Kelvin Harmon / Jacoby Meyers’ catch radius Finley also shows an ability to anticipate WR breaking open, while Herbert tends to wait for a passing lane - which is often too late to throw in the NFL. Those windows will close on him at the next level.
If Finley was still on the board in round 3 I would trade up for him. I feel like his stock is gonna rise because there are hardly any QB worth it this year, and that third round projection is just draft publications not knowing anything yet.
Yeah idk about that. Finley was projected as a first rounder by draft publications earlier on. He'll be late 2nd at the most unless he absolutely dazzles at the combine
Has NC state been bad this season or something? Admittedly much of the Finley tape I can find is from 2017
Why is ESPN mobile site so useless? Always the first search result when I look for a player or team’s stats, and then it only shows you like 3 columns of stats and you can’t expand it? What? How have they not updated this in 2018? ESPN as a company could totally fold and I wouldn’t notice or blink. @EntryLevelDave pls use Yahoo fantasy next year
They haven't been very good, no. He's been pretty much as good as he was last season if not a little better. But I still don't see him going much higher than the late 2nd. Evidently RapSheet confirmed we're moving on from him so there will be a new QB next year. Let's fucking pray we either trade for Carr or we let Eli play one more year.
Yahoo's mobile fantasy is better but their desktop is positively ass. ESPN mobile is useless though, agreed.
