Terronne Prescod from NC State isn't getting enough love imo. It's not just Bradbury. Also, if he can stay at a healthy weight, BJ Autry from Jacksonville St is a sleeper guard that the Jaguars are obviously gonna be watching. Goes without saying that we regularly scope out Jacksonville St (and Bethune-Cookman) standouts.
Cody fords pants keep almost falling off, he's had to stop drills earlier to pull them up. Smh under armour
Sweat is so good that I legit would not mind if my Jags moved back into round 1 to take him second. Love him. Think whoever gets him is getting a bargain. Wouldn't be shocked to see him in the top 15.
Great comparison actually! Except he's a Beachum who actually has length and is 6'6". Beachum is only like 6'3" if I'm not mistaken.
I'm not a big Dillard fan. Or a big fan of Washington State prospects at all. Pretty sure the best player they've put out is Deone Bucannon
I mean, he's clearly more of a prototype than a technician. How well he does in the league is gonna depend on the relationship he develops with his coaches. His measurables certainly give him high value though. He has great feet and very good length. I don't see him for Jax but I could see him on a zone blocking team. There are certain things some linemen labor to do in space that come easy for Dillard.
Their scheme is about as anti NFL as it gets. You have problems with what Cody Ford was asked to do, Dillards done maybe half that
That’s fair. Dillard is just built more like a tackle while Ford lives off of his size & strength & doesnt really show much ability to extend and kickslide. Ford blocks very well in a phone booth but struggled vs speed rush, which is a flaw Kyler Murray tends to hide
Myles Gaskin with a slow 4.6. Probably not the smartest thing in the world to go in and add 15lbs of muscle after the Rose Bowl.
hey @xkj1985x tell me about Rapp. Seeing some Twitter rumblings that the Dolphins love his versatile game. He can play in the box and play deep?
Yes and Yes. You aren’t going to want to use him a ton deep or to play that centerfield role but he can do it all. I’m really curious to see how he tests. I think he’s going to show up well and is going to sneak into that later part of day 1 or within the first couple picks on day 2
Well no but lack of measurements can be an obstacle. It does matter that Dillard has more length because that gives him an edge in terms of hand placement. Beachum definitely has to compensate for his lack of length at LT becuase most pass rushers are longer than him. Good measurements won’t make a bad player good, but they hint at which things a player will likely struggle with and which things will need less of a learning curve.
I'd love for him to fall to our 2nd rounder pick the best OL/DL in round 1 our secondary would be tremendous if we added Rapp and I know that Flores is going to want a lot of DBs. I wonder if Rapp could play the Patrick Chung role on the defense.
