Me too. Trade up with Jax. I'll take the fourth QB off the board, Daniel Jones in your place. (since Denver might draft Lock lmao)
If Jones is our guy we should stay put. Plus, the only reason the Phins would trade up would be to get above us.
I remain adamant that we aren't going for Drew Lock. I also remain adamant that if we do I am murdering Randall.
In all honesty though? If I had to choose between Jones and a mountain of draft picks? I'd take the mountain of draft picks actually hahaha. Especially if I still had a chance to draft Jones. If not? Gimme Jawaan Taylor or Ed Oliver haha I'm perfectly fine with that
Now that he's not healthy for the Combine, I think the chances of that have reduced a lot. IMO that gave Jonah Williams the green light to control his own destiny. If he has a good Combine, he will be the first OL off the board
Taylor can still lift and perform drills at his Pro Day and in private workouts. He is a superior prospect to Williams on paper and not running the 40 doesn’t change that.
I got onto The Draft Network by using Opera, rather than Safari. Their rankings and predictive board are so odd.
My issue is why didn’t Florida play Jawaan on the left? I don’t get it. He was their best lineman. Some offensive linemen really struggle with the transition from one side to another, having to mirror their muscle memory so it doesn’t feel like a sure thing to me. Yeah Jawaan’s tape is excellent but he also wasn’t tested on the QB’s blind side, and didn’t line up against some top rushers because of it. I think Lane Johnson is the exception, not the rule when we talk about OL drafted very high to play on the right side.
Cardinals: Quinnen Williams Greg Little Jaylon Ferguson Parris Campbell Kendall Sheffield T.J. Edwards Bryce Love Jags: Devin White Daniel Jones Trayvon Mullen Connor McGovern Max Scharping Austin Bryant @Randall Mentzos Bengals: Ed Oliver AJ Brown Ben Powers Isaiah Prince Germaine Pratt Ulysses Gilbert Ryan Finley Blace Brown Panthers: Byron Murphy Taylor Rapp David Montgomery Daylon Mack Carl Granderson Lil'Jordan Humphrey
While I would certainly flip shit, Daniel Jones is not falling to round 2 lmao. Thats nuts. I LOVE Devin White though, and even though LB isn’t a huge need I wouldn’t be mad at drafting him. The dude legit has Patrick Willis-level potential and athleticism to lead a defense if he reaches his ceiling. Also AJ Brown in round 2??? that’s crazy talk to me. While I don’t like his skillset as much as I like Harmon’s, Brown is a fucking bull after the catch and he has a way of making routine, easy passes really hard to defend because of it. Hes the kinda guy that the Bills could draft to make Josh Allen look good haha
okay I did one better Cardinals: Josh Allen Chris Lindstrom Hakeem Butler Rock Ya-Sin Parris Campbell Max Scharping TJ Edwards Jaguars: Jonah Williams Greg Little Daniel Jones Derrick Baity Saivion Smith Shareef Miller Bengals: Devin White AJ Brown Ben Powers Terry Beckner Tyree Jackson Blace Brown Mitch Hyatt Bryce Love Panthers: Christian Wilkins Dexter Lawrence David Montgomery Sutton Smith Isaiah Prince Lil'Jordan Humphrey
why you ain't drafting the Jags any receivers though Even later on we could be getting Stanley Morgan, Riley Ridley, fuck if you want a different small school late rounder than Isabella I could go for Keelan Doss, UC Davis. I honestly take Harmon or AJ Brown without question in round 2 and Butler or JJAW without blinking in round 3. This is a dope WR class tbh, maybe not a lot of true first rounders but a lot of talent everywhere else.
god damn right. I've long acknowledged that he is going to need to put on some size and by all accounts, he's done that at Exos training for this weekend so yeah, real curious to see how he looks.
Honestly I think so too. Greedy has the highest ceiling but his style of play will get him into trouble as a rookie.
