Pat mahomes made Chris Conley look like an acceptable receiver last year, maybe they make another trade
I look forward to Campbell signing with the browns in 4 years with a letter inked "just a kid from Akron, Ohio"
Fully expecting moncrief to have 1000 yards and 7tds this year just because he flopped as a jag last year
I get Deebo, because even though they’re both short receivers, if you’re looking for polished route running, he’s your guy, and he has better hands Parris is basically just a slightly bigger, slightly more athletic, more proven Hardman
More proven? Does catching a lot of underneath routes makes you more proven? His tape doesn't exactly match his ridiculous combine numbers, unfortunately.
I think we are losing the context of this discussion. We are talking about the 49ers and Chiefs. Campbell doesnt need to be diverse in those systems.
Nah, Samuel was a better pick for a rebuilding team like the 49ers. He might become their only actually reliable guy (aside from Kittle) I agree that Campbell goes above Hardman though
Also, even if the Chiefs drafted well with their 3 picks... 1) rounds 1 & 2 are an F. Maybe I’d be nicer and give them a C- / D+ if Frank Clark wasn’t a shitbag but they still spent way too much draft capital on him in a draft year with so many good pass rushers. 2) not replacing the talented center and RB they lost is also an F
I like Deebo a lot but with Pettis already there they could've really stretched the field with Parris too
Eh. Deebo is pretty awesome after the catch and a return specialist. He might not be a “deep threat” you throw bombs to but he definitely can create big plays
But yeah. The Raiders had a “good draft” too if you look at just what players they got, but that’s ignoring the context. When you look at the draft picks they had and the value they could’ve gotten, that draft is average at best The Chiefs got a lot thinner. Whoever said they were “2 players away” from a SB last season must have forgot all the guys they lost this offseason too
Felton Davis getting picked up by the Chiefs as an UDFA is a sleeper move IMO. He was so good and if he can get back to form after that injury, he's gonna kill it
He can answer any and all questions about if he’s for real if he produces with this group Kelce is and has always been his best target. Hill was just the most dangerous. Their deep game will take a hit while Hardman develops.
