it's gonna be very interesting to see how MLB/umpires decide to handle games to start the season. Obviously you cannot begin all 162 games by issuing warnings to either team about throwing at batters, but do all games against the dodgers and yankees just end up getting warnings issued? i imagine opening day will begin with a warning.

 

i expect a heightened number of bench-clearing-brawls this season, that is for certain.

 

This is gonna be the most contentious season of baseball ever

On today's Dan Patrick Show he mentioned how someone told him that essentially all teams are already being given warnings prior to any game vs the Astros (and I assume anyone on the 2017-2019 teams playing for someone else) not to retaliate.

 

i hate the nationals but thats fantastic hahah

Wonder how long (if ever) the Astros need before they can gain the trust of the bulk of baseball fans/players/staff. It seems like there’s always something new to come out that damages any sort of good will they try to recover.
