It’s the first game of the season for them... in Anaheim. They’ve sold blocks of seats to Dodgers and Yankees fans who want to boo them. It’s going to be glorious.

 

So many players speaking out in pretty harsh terms about the Astros cheating makes me believe that sign stealing to this extent is not widespread like folks wanted to believe in the early days of the scandal.

Literally everyone tries to decipher signs from second base, even in little league and high school we were trying to. Nothing wrong with that. But a camera from center field to a live feed near the dugout? No way.

I’m eager to hear what the Red Sox were doing.

 

yeah, I still think there are players from every team that utilize the MLB replay booth, but there's no way any other team was orchestrating things the way Houston did. however, we do know several teams have tried pushing the envelope before with smartwatches, so i wouldn't be surprised if we found out there were other teams/players testing other things.

 

read an article this morning that intimated that we should know within the next 2 weeks what the red sox findings are, and that they are "nowhere near as egregious" as what the astros did. take that as you may.
