we had a weekend season ticket package for the Sox, so I went to way more Sox games growing up too. My half sister babysat for Carlton Fisk ffs

A couple years old now (and pre-Cubs WS), but this seems petty accurate for me. I-290 and 88 is the north/south dividing line for Cubs/Sox until you get past the suburban areas in both the west and south, where it turns over to Cubs. Once you hit Peoria/Chambana everything turns to Cardinals.

Yeah, Bloomington-Normal is pretty much an even split between Cubs/Cardinals fans. I think I knew like one Sox fan growing up. South of there it’s pretty much all Cardinals.
