I skipped the last couple of pages of this thread, but as someone that is actually looking forward to the abc, is this where we'll be talking about it when it starts?

I loved watching Buehrle play. Just a really good athlete.

 

I don't know why bc it's not that funny but this is cracking me up.

I think I might go watch the Fresno state baseball team tonight since Dodgers don't play tonight.

 

I've said it probably a million times, but the new MLB The Show game looks incredible. It's usually the only game I buy every year (generally buy every other FIFA installment) and this one in particular is going to suck up so much of my time.

Have tremendous respect for Buerhle. Every pitcher needs to operate as quickly as he does. Should have went trick or treating at his house as a kid when I had the chance lol

 

The 200+ Innings stat is mad. He only missed it by less than 2 innings in his last year too because he got lit up in his final outing I believe

 

Best games I saw in terms of pace were Buehrle vs either Cliff Lee or Jake Westbrook for the Tribe. None of those pitchers messed around and I'm convinced the defenses played better because they had to be more engaged. It just made for better baseball. Even batters stepping out at a higher rate (like two outs and runners on base), that didn't really impact the game that much. On the other end, the worst in terms of pace I remember is Jamie Moyer. He was the worst haha.

First match between the Tribe and Cubs today. Granted, slightly less at stake this time around.
