i love my team that has 4 great hitters, 2 good starters, no depth, no bench, no bullpen, and no front office ability to make moves

 

As awful as every single cardinals hitter and starter has been all season long it blows my mind that we are somehow only 1.5 gb

I'm pretty pissed at Mozeliak about half the time but yall might actually need to fire fucking everybody

 

At least Heyward is finally pretty okay?

 

Same with the Brewers, except it's because they have only one good starter (who is now out for six weeks).

 

Best year as a Cub so far! Hope it continues. Heyward and Robel Garcia (best story in the majors this year imo) complement Bryzzo/Baez/Contreras nicely but everyone else sucks lol. Except Schwarber.

Almora is a 4th outfielder at best, Descalso should be DFA’d. Russell should’ve been too like forever ago.

Missing Zobrist for months now has really cemented how important a utility player has been for the Cubs. Zobrist + Bryant + Happ (still in AAA because his hitting has tanked) allows so much positional flexibility that the Cubs currently just do not have.
