Trading Pressley was a big mistake.

Everything else has worked out pretty well.

 

Oh the baseball expert has chimed in, I guess cause the guy with the filthiest 2 seamer in history blew one game it's Kimbrel time lol

 

With Alvarado, it’s not that he blew one game. He has a 1-12 record with a history of blowing games late going back to last year. He’s filthy but can be far from lights out because of how erratic he pitches when he’s being squeezed.

 

Kimbrel as a starter would be fun

 

Lol imagine if they signed him just to be an opener

 

Honestly, I don’t really know what the Rays have to lose with taking on Kimbrel. More than enough available money, and it’s not like the draft pick we’d lose would be a guaranteed score anyway. So many of our good prospects come via the trade anyway, so I’d say fuck it and go for broke with Kimbrel. Pagan, Alvarado, and Castillo are great for innings 7-8, but I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t like to have a guy in Kimbrel with a knack for locking in close games like that. But idk, I’m also pissed and emotional. And probably unnecessarily peeved at CC who for some reason has made it his personal vendetta to be salty with the Rays now. Oh well.

 

Well in about 3 weeks somebody is signing Kimbrel that's for sure. 3 weeks def isn't worth losing a draft pick at this point, especially with getting a pitcher game ready

 

Fuck Wendy's tho but not their social media folks, they seem chill.
