I feel like that bracket was seeded pretty badly for the other side

The fact that Joey Chestnut can eat 72 hotdogs and play a softball game a few days later is more impressive than a 513 foot homer.

Jamie fox said "go watch baby driver" and I'm just repeating it so the thread knows to watch it.

I love the timed format over the 10 outs one, but the bracket needs to go.

people like brackets...the endings to a lot of those matchups were really exciting. it just so happened that there's a guy named Judge in this. Going up against Judge you know you need 30 or else you're toast.

The brackets create more drama. I think it's perfect. Well nothing's perfect. But I almost never could watch the whole derby before this format. The one in Cincinnati was great too. The 10 out format dragged so much cause everybody waited for the perfect pitch and it took FOREVER

I get the drama aspect, but I don't know how you can say the bracket is perfect when you had Miguel Sano in the final after hitting half as many homers as Bour did in the first round. I did find it funny that the bracket screwed over both Miami players, though.

They could've just had it formatted like the 3 point competition is. Have the three elimination rounds with all the players at once rather than 1 vs 1 every time. At least those miami guys would've lasted till the final round.

That's literally how it's been for the last 2 decades. I don't know why they changed it in the first place. Real dumb

The brackets are a really cool idea, however last night it really hurt the probability of a much better final(Stanton-Judge) Stanton would've been able to keep pace, and would've definitely ended with more HR's than most. Sano barely got out of the first round, and had one of the worst first round totals. Under normal rules he wouldn't have made it out of the first round.

Judge may have hit 100 lol kidding but everyone would've probably done better

Judge probably would've still won, but Stanton staying in it would've made it much more entertaining, as him and Judge both hit MONSTER home runs

It's the luck of the draw. It happens in bracket formats all the time. You don't know of bour or Stanton would've been able to keep it up. I mean sano was slow and steady and consistent
