I'd be annoyed if OBJ was more well-liked than Judge lol. I'm guessing he was prob more famous though

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually really like the idea of watching random games and finding a team/announcers that I can enjoy. Announcing is a huge compenet of me actually getting into the game so this is a good strategy.

 

Mets have a great booth.

 

If you care a lot about announcing then I'd recommend choosing the other team's announcers for any game involving the Cardinals fyi. Our play-by-play guy is fine-to-good but all of the color analysts they use (except Jim Edmonds) are bad-to-hideously-bad, bottoming out with what's left of Tim McCarver

 

I do really like all the former players the Yankees use, David Cone, John Flaherty, Ken Singleton. Paul O'Neill is so entertaining, not something I could've guessed from watching him play haha

Did y'alls parents have any odd player affinities? My mom loved Tim Lincecum for some reason. She saw an article about him once and became a fan. I always kept her informed of when the Cubs were playing the Giants so she could watch

I’m gonna miss Joe Simpson in the booth bitching about everything. Man, that guy is such an asshole it made for good entertainment at times.
