They just haven't had any luck whatsoever in keeping their starters healthy for even 1/2 a season it feels like

 

Angels broadcasters talking about how there was big talk of the Angels and M's playing in Japan to open the season. Can definitely see this happening next season with a (hopefully) healthy Ohtani to pitch and hit opening day.

Wondering if Harper acknowledges DC (fans) at some point.

 

I mean, it's not like he's going over to the AL and won't see them for awhile. He's in DC April 2nd and 3rd. Gotta happen sooner than Pujols returning to St Louis, which somehow hasn't happened yet and finally does this season (followed, hopefully, by an early retirement).

Harper v Teheran is amazing. He has a 1.702 OPS against Teheran lol in 52 plate appearances

 

You know, I’m surprised that’s happening now. I honestly thought he would’ve popped up in a series but now he’s finally going back to Busch. Gonna be funny to watch all the people come out of the woods and act like they never hated Pujols for leaving.

 

I went through the five stages of grief with Pujols in about two weeks after he left. Coming off of the WS win obviously helped to soften the blow. Honestly LaRussa retiring around the same time that offseason was more earth-shattering for me because I couldn't remember a time when we wasn't our manager since I was three when he came over from Oakland

Anyway I'll definitely be at Busch at some point the last weekend in June when Pujols comes back. Just hope he stays healthy until then

 

Loved my two visits to Busch... first time was an Angels game where they came back and won, second time was just a in the area and why not catch a game vs the Rays. Great atmosphere and fans. Can't imaging how that series will be.

 

I was sad at first but I got over it in time, especially when the Cards had their post-season run. It’s gonna be surreal seeing him there again though.

 

It’ll be fine, Cards fans aren’t gonna boo him. You might still get those guys who wear his jerseys with the name crossed out but I think enough time has passed to were people got over it and will give a standing ovation at bat.

Turns out this isn't true: I just had the really sad realization that June has five weekends this year, which means the fourth weekend when the series is is the same weekend as my sister's wedding in New Jersey on 6/22. Alas
