Never thought we’d have Strasburg here over Harper.

We wasted 3 years of him with dumb managers and I’m pretty sure coaching here was what caused his slump last season. Team is so dumb.

Bryce Harper will make $56,000 every time he puts the ball in play.

David Robertson and Seranthony Dominguez are good. Not sure about the others.

Biggest name is newly acquired David Robertson, who you know. Very reliable.

Seranthony Dominguez was really good in the first half, fell off in the second. I haven’t looked into why but he has all the makings of a good bullpen arm.

Some other solid pieces, just depends on which side of the reliever volatility curve they perform next year

Well, no wonder the Nats deal was dismissed out of hand. Sheesh, Washington.

Deferred money is less valuable, right? Like a million in hand now is better than a million in hand 30 years from now?

  17. Yeah but can they sign Durant and Kyrie too?

  18. Trout could get 500 million and I would think he's still under paid

  19. Definitely. Interest alone that you get to accrue on it vs inflation in 20 years on the same million being worth 'less'.

Yea, with the time value of money, $300M until he's 60 is significantly less.

The Angels should’ve given Trout the lifetime contract when he wanted it 5 years ago
