So Manny is gonna play 3B in SD it appears

 

Has that ever been his nickname or did they just make that up lol

 

I never followed the orioles or manny too too close but i have never at all heard that lol

 

Yeah, that's a first time for me, too.

For whatever reason, I like Machado a lot more as a third baseman. I feel like there's good shortstops everywhere.

 

He's one of the best 3B ever and below average at SS. It's weird. Getting a lot more moneys worth anytime he's at third.

 

6474 innings at 3b, 84 DRS
1694 innings at SS, -11 DRS

Had a 35 DRS season at 3b in 2013 alone.

 

I'd rather have him at SS, tbh. His bat makes up for the slight below-average defense handsomely.

 

It got rained out halfway through the 2nd inning, but it was good to have baseball back on the radio today. Not to brag, but going 5-0 on the A's felt pretty good (definitely not small sample size no way).

 

Gonna be a long season for my Jays but I can't wait to see Guerrero Jr crush some baseballs.

i wonder what’s going to happen with effectively wild. it’s been going on for so long now and ben lindbergh is so busy that no one could blame him for saying it’s the end now that two cohosts have left. but it would be extremely sad. because it’s absolutely the best podcast there is on any topic. hall of fame level

Just heard on the pod! Very happy to hear.

My guess is either Sam Miller returns or Meg Rowley. I can’t imagine who else other than Meg could fit in as seamlessly as Jeff did for Sam.

 

I’m trying to clear out space so I’m selling all my bobble heads and other baseball stuff. sad day.

 

I'm also hoping for Meg. Either way I'm just happy it will continue

nothing really special tbh. just mostly Fresno Grizzlies bobble heads and some Cubs collectibles my dad had for some reason.

I don’t even want to touch the card stuff tbh. There is a box full of stuff.

 

My hope is either of those two or Grant Brisbee

 

I completely forgot about Grant. That’d be sweet.

 

Great for Jeff Sullivan but a big loss for the baseball nerd community. TB seems like a fantastic institutional fit for him tho
