  1. Honestly I still don't expect them to win the central but I'm having a lot of fun watching them - the future is bright

I'm going to be bummed when Donaldson doesn't end up in a Cardinals uniform

Haha I was expecting something more recent when I searched your twitter name and Brewers, but this one was too good to pass on

No need to get an old player. Go young or go home.

Win now mentality. We can't go full young like the Yankees did until some of the older players on our team are gone.

This team is full of average MLB talent that can barely play .500 ball. This is not a win now team so no need to buy a veteran player and lose young players.

The thought of getting him just reminds me of the boost of getting Holiday and the spark it gave our team . I could see something similar happening

Donaldsons pretty spectacular too. The cardinals have needed that legit stud in the lineup for years

Donaldson is gonna be a much less great player in a few years, why should he waste the last few years of his prime on an average team? The Mets should pay up.

And then they'll probably all be injured the next three years and waste it anyway

    Lol

I don't see one, I believe his contract expires after this season though.

Show me anything that shows the cardinals are not the same thing, at least the Mets are riddled with injuries to all their good players lol

    2011 World Series winners
    2012 NLCS
    2013 NL Pennant winners
    2014 NLCS

Missed the playoffs for the first time in six years last year by a single game .

I mean really, what more do you need? Should I go back to the 2006 NLCS?!

thing is i dont really see a need for Donaldson to be traded this year (from a blue jays perspective). I think they'd be better suited to keep him and if he continues to show dominance, re-sign him in 2 years.

the blue jays don't need to 'blow it up' per-say.

I'm a Cards fan and this team is nothing more than middle of the pack. A aging third baseman who is a half year rental isn't going to change anything for them

The Indians are first in the AL Central yet have the third most home losses in the majors. That's astonishing.
