I don't understand refusing to trade in the division, especially if you're the Marlins with Realmuto. Like no way you're contending the next two years so who cares who he helps?

 

Well, they probably got thin skin after everyone shit on them for not being able to get more for Stanton so I guess they care a lot what the media and fans think. Would they even do Thor for realmuto?

 

I think the Mets would do a ton for a top catcher when you look at that position over the last few years

I just....I just dont know about this Cano deal. Like when we traded for Bruce I was livid. Hated it from day 1. Cespesdes you had to keep.

In my mind we got an upgrade in the old veteran bad contract department and a legit closer for a few years.

I think I like the deal. Just don't love clogging 2b for 5 years for a declining player

 

He'll have to move to 1B soon I'd imagine right? Does Dom Smith have any promise or are there other 1B prospects for them?
