It’s crazy watching the Red Sox win the World Series and casually seeing a kid you went to college with out on the field celebrating with the team.

 

Bring on next season.

 

2004 and 2013 are always going to be incredibly special. Breaking the curse and then winning after the bombing are so uniquely special.

This team has been so incredibly fun though. I fucking love each and every one of them. David Price, I’m sorry.

As a Cards fan, those will forever break my heart for different reasons. 2004 was the first Cards WS I got to see in my lifetime and in 2013, I dealt with two breakups back to back and that season is what held me together during them. Granted, it is just sports in the end but both those losses cemented a grudge against the Sox that isn’t going away anytime soon. That said, I beat no ill will to any Sox fan in these threads, you’re good peeps and I don’t hate you.

 

i thought baseball didn't have neutral sites for the WS but it's ended in LA for two years now? what's up with that?

 

I’d have to go with 2004 and 2013 from an emotional standpoint but I fucking love this team. The 2013 ALCS with Ortiz and Victorino hitting grand slams really stands out. I love baseball.
