What an insane performance by Eovaldi though

 

It’s legitimately wild to think I was able to spend 4 hours at my work event and I still managed to catch 3 hours of the baseball game.

 

That game was 18 innings so that clearly means the score is now 2-2. No take backs.

Just woke up. Kinsler is our generation’s Buckner.

 

Hahaha love how bad Kinsler was. Never liked him on the Rangers and hated when the Angels signed him. And after he said Mookie is better than Trout the modern day Buckner indeed.

 

I fell asleep after Kinsler botched it. I hope he’s not in the lineup tonight.

Not sure how I feel today. I’ve said it before, but it feels like the momentum is always with the team who just won, within the bubble of a series, no matter where that series is.

I have no idea how tonight’s game goes. At worst now it goes back to Fenway, but this also reminds me why I have always hated the 2-3-2 format of a series. To me, if you have home field advantage, you should have it through every odd number of games. The Sox advantage only really comes into play if the series goes 6 or 7. I’ve always preferred 2-2-1-1-1 because it feels more even.

Oh well. Time to shake it off and get a win tonight. Really hoping they figure a way to get benentendi in there, and also put Pearce in at first. Moreland is not swinging well at all.

Working on maybe 3 hours of sleep, and completely drained and feeling like the series is over even though the Sox are up 2 games to 1. This team has always stepped up after bad losses so hopefully they put this game behind them and come out fighting once again.

Really don’t have much else to say about last night except Eovaldi and Nunez played their butts off last night much much respect to them.

Sad to see JBJ sit but you can pinch hit or run him later and shuffle things around. I am glad to see Kinsler and Moreland sitting though.

 

Feels inevitable that Rodriguez is gonna throw 6 innings of one run ball and look like a god doing it

 

I’m actually liking this lineup the more I look at it. Getting Beni back at the top opens up the chance for more baserunners for JD.

I have to imagine the top of the order can’t be as bad as it was last night. I have to think the same applies for the Dodgers though. I have no idea how this is gonna go. Just trying to stay hopeful for the Sox.
