According to various reporters via Tweeter and news reports Cleveland might have tipped the Red Sox that something was going on in the ALDS. Either way you wonder how much of this stuff goes on on from every team.

League apparently looked into the Red Sox thing and said there was nothing there.

 

Here’s a new story about Oakland complaining to the league about Houston:

Last I read the MLB issued a statement and said they are aware of it and it will be handled internally.

I love the “no we weren’t cheating, we were just trying to make sure the other team wasn’t cheating” line.

Seems like there’s a lot of smoke going on here. But like I said I think all teams do stuff like this. That’s not to say I think it’s ok to do.

Indians were accused by Boston of stealing signs in the 2016 ALDS. This probably happens - to some degree - way more than we know.

 

Weren’t the Blue Jays caught stealing signs a few years back? This happens all the time, I don’t really think it’s a big deal.

 

If the Astros were actually doing that I’m laughing that they sent a dude without media credentials to just go in there and take pics lmaoooo.

 

Jays supposedly had someone in the outfield stands with binoculars trying to see the catchers signs and sending messages back to the field.

I think sign stealing is ok if say a runner on the bases sees the catchers signs or someone on the bench figures out the 3rd base coaches’ signals. Once you bring in cameras, Apple watches or people outside of the playing field I think that’s wrong.
